Specialising in Interventional Cardiology, Dr Michael Greenwood obtained his medical degree from the University of Queensland and then furthered his studies at Victoria Hospital on Vancouver Island, Canada, for his interventional training.  Dr Greenwood has extensive experience in general and interventional cardiology and performs coronary angiography, angioplasty and stenting as well as transoesophageal echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.

Dr Greenwood provides inpatient and outpatient consultation services at our Southport (Gold Coast Private) and Benowa (Pindara Private) rooms. Inpatients at all three hospitals are visited on a daily basis. Weekend and Holiday cover is provided by other members of the Gold Coast Heart Centre, providing a 24 hour / 365 day per year service.
